A marvel to behold.

Among my absolute favorite live records. A band at the height of their collective powers.

Oh I only got it last week or so and I have listened to it around 6-7-8 times already.

Dream-spheres and hemispheric radiations. And no, I am not tripping, but yes, Floyd most certainly was.

The most this album has been played in the past year is no more than a few times. Colourful but seldom played.

Well, it has been many days and months which I have not heard this release. Not first-rate Rush, but no Rush is really second-rate, I don't think, at least to my ears.

The music which is composed on this release is some of the most bewildering, beautiful, and most memorably atmospheric music I have ever heard and it is the kind of music that once listened to with full receptivity and attention, never leaves the mind. I am hesitant to utilize the word magical, but it truly is otherworldly, but also very human and earthly. Something completely foreign, but also something, completely familiar. Stunning.

It cannot be never refuted that the musical landscapes witnessed on early Floyd was influenced/influencers by then the flourishing scene of psychedelia. Pink Floyd produced some of the most thought-provoking music, and lyric, but that all changed, after the tragedies of the band member, Syd Barrett, which completely altered the psychedelic sound and all of which ensued, thereafter.

Listened to first at the ends of past Summer, but a faithful a return, and a pleasurable one at that.

Like any other major progressive rock bands at the end of the 70's, which were all undergoing changes, Jethro Tull were no different. Still an offering with firing at different fronts, yet still the yearning for just a few years ago even, back then, was as real as the waxing for the past now.

Symmetry, harmony, rhythm, order. Reinvigorating like fresh mountain air.

Hard rock's Baroque-tempered mid-land rovers.

A many-faceted album after the radical shift in musical direction in the early 80's.

An excellent, tightly crafted record that finely balances progressive bombast and glorious, old fashioned hard rock. Few did it better. A crying shame these fellas aren't in the Rock Hall.

Never ever listened to Kansas. Will see if my local music shop has any of their albums available.

Leftoverture, Point of Know Return, Song for America and Masque are all quality records. Kansas often gets unfairly lumped in with AOR rock acts like Journey and Styx because of radio staples like Carry on Wayward Son and Dust in the Wind. Those two tracks barely scratch the surface of the quality of their writing and musicianship. If you want just a taste, check out Lamplight Symphony from Song for America.

Thanks for that clear guideline, Joshua. More reason for a trip to the music store, at the first opportunity! Many thanks! Plus, it's radio. So, that's that.
