I do like WITTR and these cats, but stuff like Lithurgy and Krallice is vomit.

La Dispute - Wildlife

the worry, the wonder, the shortness of days,
the replacement for purpose
the things swept away by
the worry, the wonder, my slightness of frame
the replacements for feeling
the casual lay
and the worst of the wildlife wears clothes and can pray
and the worry, the wonder, for three meals a day
only death unimpeded, not slowing it's pace,
brings that petty old worry and wonder away

Can't get enough of this album.

I remember when this came out. Oh the excitement of Bruce and Adrian coming back!

And I wasn't disappointed. Excellent songs, excellent sound.

Highlight songs:

Brave New World
Blood Brothers
The Mercernary
Dream of Mirrors
Out of the Silent Planet

SUperb Heavy Metal album. I think it shows that the issue with Blaze in Iron Maiden wasn't so much his voice but rather the uninspired song writing (a couple of exceptions aside) and bad production.

Brave New World is such a fantastic album. I still enjoy it as much as it first came out. Brilliant!

Fuck the haters. This new wave of black metal is so great. Was listening to Ash Borer earlier this morning and just damn, so good.

Who is actually left on the forum that actually despises this newer black metal? I mean, I've even come around halfway, no small concession.
Touche. I guess Steve and V were the last ones?

Spooky "haunted house" music for the win.

Hot damn! That riff on False Hope is slick.

Brutal industrial grindcore for the uninitiated. Not their best album but fun. S/t is where it's at though. Or their newest for a more straight death metal sound.

Sabbath Assembly - Returned to One
then Hammers of Misfortune - 17th Street

putting those two next to each other made me think of how cool it'd be for jex to sing for hammers

Vader - Revelations

Been on a Vader kick lately. Not too much talk about their new one.

That would be exciting. Is Sabbath Assembly good?

NP: Benny Benassi - Cinema (Skrillex Remix). Skrillex is annoying sometimes but the drops...

Autopsy - The Tomb Within

dirty, grimy, old school death metal at its finest.

I don't hate it, but I don't like it.
