I love Pearl Jam and all, but that cover is awful.

Yes, but it's not it's like it's the first time they had a awful album cover... Honestly, the only one I can call beautiful is the one of Yield.
What matters is the music and I'm pretty eager to listen to it.

Kind of reminds me of Black Flag. Except Black Flag's covers were supposed to be garish monstrosities.

I need to look into Pearl Jam beyond Ten.

New Baroness track sounds decent.

Damn, that Pearl Jam cover is dreadful shit. Then again, their album covers usually suck. Can't wait to hear it.

I quite liked the avocado. Looked good.

Really? I thought it was boring personally. Then again, most of their album covers suck, at least in my opinion.

New information about the next Iced Earth album! Apparently it's going to be a concept album about America's heroic involvement in World War 2, starting with Pearl Harbour and ending with a ten-minute epic as Truman decides whether or not to nuke Japan. There'll be songs detailing how America single-handedly saved Europe from the Nazi menace, including a firey thrasher for the Normany landings, and a ballad about the liberation of the death camps. The working title is Brothers In Arms.














Ok, so I made all that up. I doubt we'll get a new IE before 2010 but it would be an awesome subject for them.

has anyone besides me heard pearl jam's two new singles "got some" and " the fixer" ?
they're pretty sub par for pearl jam songs. I think the albums going to be their worst yet.
But I'm really interested in the new AiC, I loved "A Looking in View"

I think The Fixer is pretty good acutally, haven't heard Got Some yet.

As for AiC, Looking in View is outstanding, but Check My Brain is just OK in my opinion.

just listened to check my brain, i've never said this about an alice in chains song but the lyrics are horrible. the instrumental work is solid IMO
