Beautiful art on that WITTR. Seeing them live in Sept! Umm, I wonder if it's like Blake Judd was saying in an article where they tell you to do so many tracks and you hack up a single song to make three tracks.

Just an update on the aforementioned Drudkh/Alcest project, titled Old Sliver Key.

Old Silver Key's album is titled "Tides of Wanderings" and is coming out in September.

Apparently Drudkh is going to continue their recent post-rock affection through this project, while next year's Drudkh was explained as a return to the past by their label, Season of Mist. I think everybody wins here, the Drudkh purists get old Drudkh back, the people that loved Handful of Stars get a new project with a vocalist better suited to this type of music.

Here is a new track: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZFr8nU3sak

Basically it was exactly what I expected. Dreamy and a bit sleepy until the brilliant final minute. I'm pretty excited.

Man, that's so shoegaze-y.

Definitely will check this one out at release.

New Fleshgod leaked, and its ok just a bit too heavily reliant on symphonics.

Yeah agreed. Hearing one song I thought it was awesome, but after hearing the entire album I found it was just too repetitive. I liked the style they had on Mafia the best.

I predict rockin' music from this lineup.

Dunno if anybody mentioned it but stoner/doom (ought to be) superstars YOB have a new album coming out on August 16th. It's called Atma.

Hmm I thought it was a brand new album and I guess in a way it is, but more like 2008's Hindsight.

The website says: Falling Deeper continues where Hindsight left off. The album features brand new arrangements of songs and haunting melodies from our earliest days. It’s a mesmerising blend of the orchestral - majestic and at times ethereal - with beautiful vocal arrangements and our unique 'feedback' lead guitars, all centred around a grand piano and a huge rhythm section. All the layers work together to convey the haunting internal landscapes Anathema have become renowned for.

My bad, still excited.

The monster is loose.

Brilliant album imo, once you manage to get past the production that sounds like a demo from the 70s.

Yeah I'm pretty excited too. Hindsight was brilliant.

This plague doomed most of MR's production. It's a shame that music with so much potential has never been offered a quality sound.

Oh my is the new Fleshgod ever so good. The addition of the symphonic elements in contrast to their previousreally adds another layer to the music that makes it feel much more atmospheric and epic.

Also I love the way the tracks lead into one another... It's just really wonderful. It's like a chaotic musical journey.

True... don't know why they insist in sounding like that. Don't think it's just a matter of money
