I felt we should have a companion thread to the song one, as I don't tend to have favorite songs. At the moment my favorite album of the moment would be: Neutral Milk Hotel-In The Aeroplane Over The Sea Is it wrong that I'm enjoying this more than any album I've bought since Bergtatt?[/i] |

hmm... tough question... I heard 1184 by Windir during my summer vacation.. heard it constantly, especielly the last track. But it is not a perfect album, it has it flaws, i think. But i still like it alot, because it awakes certain emotions in me. I'm also very happy about the latest Falkenbach, Thunderforge by Skyforger, Wotanskult by Bergthrone... hmm.... S.C.madness by Satanic Warmaster. ... etc.. tough ... always a tough question. I have no real favourite album uh!! Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg ist krieg!!!! |

!T.O.O.H! - Rad A Trest... srsly one of the best things ever Souvaris - I Felt Nothing At All... very, very strong contender for the prettiest music ever. So minimal but so epic... so much better than basically all other post-rock ![]() |

I gots three favorites... Antimatter - Lights Out This is what Opeth's Damnation should've sounded like. Truly spacy, enigmatic and depressive without being uber-boring (like Planetary Confinement, which I now find to be a dry listening experience). Napalm Death - Smear Campaign Epic and faster than fuck, yet not overly repetitive. The intro is so goddamned beautiful (somehow), and the final track just reeks of malevolence. You can't beat those robo-vocals. Plus, the lyrics are actually intelligent. Neurosis - Through Silver In Blood SOUNDS LIKE GODZILLA PLANTING FLOWERS OF DESTRUCTION! ROAR! |

Always had a passing interest in that band, mostly because of the awesome name...but I can't find that anywhere :(. Not even on their own website...and BTW, I think that CD is called Order and Punishment, unless I'm mistaken (EDIT: Oh, haha...Rad a Trest means Order and Punishment in English >_>). Anyways... Coheed and Cambria--No World for Tomorrow Coheed and Cambria--In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 Between the Buried and Me--Colors I haven't listened to anything but Co&Ca for the last couple days... |

I don't think even the new Co&Ca will pass it. |
