Bought four albums on Amazon.com today (the most I've bought at once in my entire life):

1. Queen - Innuendo
2. Primus - Sailing The Seas Of Cheese
3. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik
4. Death - Human

Notice all of these were released in 1991. :)

I remember when I finally finished my internship, I had some cash with me and headed to the store. I guess that was the most I bought in one time. I think it was 6 albums. Let's see if I remember.

1.Malevolent Creation - Warkult
2.Suffocation - Souls to Deny
3.Sil Khannaz - Gerbang Kayangan
4.Deicide - Legion
5.Sinister - Cross the Styx
6.Langsuyr - The Eastern Cruelty EP

Four albums at once isn't nuts! It's about typical for me, a lot of the time.

If that's nuts, I'm irreversably insane.

Sailing the Seas of Cheese is awesome. Also I'd recommend primuslive.com, they've got live soundboard recordings there from their 03/04 tours. On some they play Seas of Cheese live entirely, others Frizzle Fry; theres some sikk improv jams too that make me like them more than any of Primus's studio albums

4 albums? Oh, slow down  .

I've only heard the RHCP, and I can't really comment since the last time I listened to it I was going through a big RHCP phase.

That's a great RHCP album. Better than Californication. Listen to Wet Sand..... :dio:

1. Queen - Innuendo : a good album, not their best but pretty decent compared to what preceeded it and what was to follow (the annoying Made In Heaven).
2. Primus - Sailing The Seas Of Cheese : great if you can stomach the voice, I can !
3. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik : RHCP's best album in my opinion... Did you get the remaster for this one ?
4. Death - Human : A death metal classic by a death metal classic band, you can't go wrong with Death !

As promised, here are my thoughts on these albums:

1. Queen - Innuendo: Great album. I do wish the production was a little heavier (though may be it's just my being so used to metal music). And Freddie's voice sounds a bit different here than on previous albums (may be it's age or AIDS?). But this is an excellent album with several truly amazing songs. Especially the title track, The Hitman, and The Show Must Go On.

2. Primus - Sailing The Seas Of Cheese: I'm not really one for bass-driven funk rock. But this is still a very fine album. Sgt. Baker (love that "left! Right!" dance bit), Jerry Was A Racecar Driver and Tommy The Cat are probably my three favorite songs on this album. But they're all good and unique in their own way (yes, even that funny Seas Of Cheese intro).

3. Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik: I do wish this album was a little shorter (let's be honest: 17 generally 4+ minute songs in one CD is a little much), but still a very good album. Although I'll admit that I do like Californication a little better. Favorite song = The Power Of Equality.

4. Death - Human: As Stefan pointed out, you can't go wrong with classic Death. Human's not quite as proggy or technical as the three albums that followed, but it's on the other hand a little easier to get into. So it's a fair trade-off. I don't think Death has ever written a song (at least in the 90's) that fell below outstanding. So, logically, Human is nothing less than an outstanding album.
