Saw this before, and it's complete nonsense. In the past year three people I know have sold off most of their collections; one selling over 9,000 CDs, 20 years worth of collecting. Why? Must be that they've just gotten sick of those albums, huh? Of course not, it's because they've embraced digital media and FREE music.

This study is a complete joke.

That's like what $1000 worth or hard drives to store it on?

Nationwide? :lol: You do realize these "studies" are based on tiny groups of people. Moreover, most people surveyed aren't going to be completely honest when discussing things illegal. There is no logic behind this.

And by the way, I mentioned nothing of my other friends—well over twenty of them—who have MP3 collections in the tens of thousands, with two that have over 100,000 MP3s. They didn't buy shit.
