I ordered a ticket for a Dir en grey show that's gonna happen in November.

Jumping the gun? Probably, butI figure I might as well get one now and thwart the risk of them selling out.

Saw Magic Pie last friday and man it kicked so much ass, Magic Pie really is one hefty beast live as well as kicking ass on CD.

I do believe the term best describing the event is "a musical orgasm"

Man, that is one gig i'll remember forever :dio: :dio:

well, not a real live show, but I saw Pink Floyd - Eclipse the other day. That was just extremely powerful.

really? otherwise they stuck to In Rainbows and well known songs from earlier albums. the only song i was surprised by was "Black Star", which wasn't one of the songs from The Bends i would've chosen.

they were awesome, their performances owned and it was one of the best shows i've been to. only bad thing was idiots in the crowd trying to mosh to their slower songs (Thom said 'this isn't a fucking Rage Against the Machine show' during "Reckoner")

I bought my ticket for Opeth in late October over a month ago.

They were so awesome live. Before I saw them live, I didn't realize that Black Seeds could be any cooler than it already is but i was wrong.

Saw Nightwish and Sonata Arctica the other day. I'm really only familiar with Sonata's first album, so I didn't really know what they were playing throughout their set, because my friend told me they only played songs from their previous two albums. As for Nightwish, I haven't heard their most recent album, which was probably a mistake because that's where most of their songs came from. Dead to the World and Sacrament of Wilderness were nice to hear though. At one point I thought they were going to play The Pharaoh Sails to Orion, which would have been bad ass, but unfortunately they broke out with a ballad instead. I couldn't help but feel that myself from three to four years ago would have been much more pumped to see Nightwish live than me now. Marco rules, though.
