It's sad, but true... Iommi is what is keeping Sabbath alive... it was always Iommi and Butler.
I lost all respect for Ozzy the day he went on MTV and showed his ass to the public... any mystique, and metal credibility, any larger-than-life-ness the man had aqcuired over the years, all gone; what we saw was a doddering palsified old man with brain damage mumbling about his dogs crapping on the rug.
Not releasing an album worthy of being a coaster for your coffee cup in, what's it been, 20 years, is one thing, but that was inexcusable.

I heard that this has to do with a merchandising suit Iommi is filing against Live Nation. If Ozzy wins this suit and gets right to the name then he will get a cut of what Iommi wins from Live Nation.

Ozzy wanting 50/50 is fucking ridiculous. He wasn't in the band when it first started, and he was only in it until '79, after which there were, what, 3 other singers? He doesn't own the Black Sabbath name, and it's ridiculously arrogant of him to think that he does.

He may be entitled to Sabbath cash, but should be nowhere near the money they made with Heaven and Hell. That is just wrong.

Any lawyer who would argue that Ozzy deserves a cut of H&H deserves their balls cut off. Hard with a dull box cutter.
