Not that I'm short of options, but I thought it'd be interesting to see what you lot wanted ME (edit - and Mintrude) to review specifically. Up for pretty much anything - if I can review it, I will.

Keep it regular reviews and archives, please - no classics, as they take longer and so I'll never get through a whole extra list in addition to what I have planned...

Oh, and let's not turn this into yet another 'metalreviews, not shitreviews' discussion. Please just suggest stuff that would clearly be of interest to a group of open-minded metalheads such as yourselves.

So Far:

Anacrusis - Reason
Anata - The Conductor's Departure
Angel Blake
Autopsy - Mental Funeral
Autumn Tears
Becoming The Archetype - Terminate Damnation (2005)
Becoming the Archetype - The Physics of Fire (2007)
Becoming the Archetype - Dichotomy (2008)
Behemoth - Grom or Satanica
Blood Red Fog - Blood Red Fog
Carpathian Forest - 'Black Shining Leather' or 'Defending the Throne of Evil'
Comus - First Utterance
Conifer - Crown Fire
Crebain/Leviathan - split
David Gilmour
Day Without Dawn - Understanding Consequences
Dismember
Fennesz - Black Sea
Flaskavsae/Light Shall Prevail - split
Funeralium - Funeralium
Grinderman
Havayoth - His Creation Reversed
Hour Of Penance - The Vile Conception
Human Remains - Where Were You When
Inferi - Shores Of Sorrow
Iron Maiden - Rock In Rio (DVD), Virtual XI
Joy Division
Life of Agony - Ugly / River Runs Red
Marblebog - Forestheart
Mercenary - Architect Of Lies
Moonlyght - Progressive Darkness
Moonlyght - Shining
Myrkskog
Nattramm solo
Necrophagist
Odious Mortem - Crptic Implosion
Ophthalamia - Via Dolorosa
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Pixies - Surfer Rosa, Doolittle
Porcupine Tree - Lightbulb Sun
Portishead - Roseland NYC Live
Primus
Red Harvest - Sick Transit Gloria Mundi
Rotting Christ - Khronos
Queensryche - Rage For Order
Serpent - new album
Sigur Ros - Agætis Byrjun
Silencer - Death Pierce Me
Sins Of Thy Beloved - Lake of Sorrow
Sodom - Tapping The Vein
The Dreaming - Etched in Blood
The Duskfall - The Dying Wonders Of The World
The Postman Syndrome
Trees - Lights Bane
White Zombie - La Sexorcisto, Astrocreep
Will Haven - Carpe Diem

We'll try and do at least one thing from this list every week. Lol, seriously, this will now happen.

I've got hold of copies of the first two, not listened to the 1980 yet but it looks promising. I want to get hold of the CoL, and assuming Adam doesn't want it, no problems there. It's not out officially yet, though. And I've heard of Asva, Doom band no? Will research it!

Fat chance! Far too controversial.

It's more Drone/Ambient than Doom.

The AIC and Pixies are on my archive list, and I got the promo for the Esoteric today, that's on the list list. The rest, noted.

Still awaiting that email, Scottovarius...

You should review something by Autumn Tears (http://www.myspace.com/thetrueautumntears). Awesome band. Be the new Misha.

Yeh, bloody good album, but there's no chance of us being allowed to do it here, or I'd definetly have done it by now.

I never really found their lyrics too bad to be honest, but I can see why it ain't allowed.

A lot of people say they can't see the fuss about their lyrics, actually! I dunno, it's more glorifying slavery and imperialism than simply saying DIE NIGGERS DIE.

Oh, mind if I hijack this thread Zad? We have fairly similar tastes, and I'm prepared to mop up your leftovers, so to speak.

Well a skinhead I work with is sure Slayer are an Aryan band, I can't brake it to him that the band leader is from Chile haha. White power causes so many more problems.

Really? Even my dad who goes apeshit at the merest sniff of fascist imagery realizes they aren't Nazis. He quite likes Angel Of Death too, haha.

Back on topic, there are quite a few bands I'd like to do but might be a bit borderline due to fascist imagery (Death In June, Peste Noire)

Well, he is an idiot. He gets me listening to the Angy Aryans in the warehouse though, which is hilarious. I think I've said this before, but they, whilst harshly racist, fucking pwn.
