I'm selling a good chunk of my music collection, if anyone is interested.

This is just the beginning, as I get used to uploading in bulk. Lots of rare stuff to come.

I like how you bought most of these for next to nothing from various bargain bins. Keep us updated as to any sales.

Move this to the Promote section? Y/N

I don't want to sell, really; it's just becoming a bit of a burden. It's too addicting, taking up too much of my time. So I'm getting rid of everything I just like, keeping only what I "love."

You think? That's for bands. Maybe you guys can create a Sell/Trade forum. That's a great way to get music on other forums.

The Promote section is clearly for promoting stuff, whether bands, websites or whatever, this has been discussed many times and changing the name would be pedantic and foolish.

"Share information about your band here."

Clearly.

I wasn't suggesting you change the name; I was suggesting you create an entirely new forum.

For the two or three posts that would be relevant? Yes, that's sensible. OR, we could just use common sense.

Too bad not everything is up yet. In order to save a bit off shipping I'd like to see everything, since I'd probably buy a bunch of stuff, :D

There is no common sense in putting For Sale or Trade threads in the Promote You Band forum. In fact, for those of us that understand and respect the English language, it makes no sense at all, common or otherwise.

Now who's trolling?

As for trading, how do you know it won't generate interest? I know of many trading sections on forums that are quite active.

I can't put a ton of stuff up at once. I have so little time in the week, it'd suck balls trying to get it all shipped. But I am going to start grouping similar styles of music; I just have to dig into all my boxes and start separating everything.

Are you going to be selling those CD's you got from me through lala.com? Maybe I'll buy those back. :D

Probably. Haha.

I'm keeping rock (sleaze, AOR, 80's, etc.), prog-metal/rock, melodic metal, and then my favorites from other genres. But everything else is going.

You should get that Torture CD. If you haven't heard them, they are amazing.

Are all your CD's in really good condition? I dunno why but I feel 4 bucks a pop is a bit outlandish.

Will keep an eye out. Bound to be some goodies in there somewhere.
