| Post subject: | Good songs from shitty albums |
Taking the topic from our friends at MA, what are some songs that you enjoyed and pulled from otherwise horrid albums. My vote goes for "Battle Metal" from Turisas, "Travel in Stygian" from Night of the Stormrider, "The Ripper" from Sad Wings of Destiny, and the titletrack from With fear.. I kissed the Burning darkness. |

Um are you calling Sad Wings Of Destiny a shitty album?

I kissed the Burning darkness. Um are you calling Sad Wings Of Destiny a shitty album? Sub-par compared to anything such as Painkiller, yet again I realize they are two completely different beasts. I just don't see Sad Wings of destiny as being anything more than a product of it's time, whereas Painkiller is easily the most metal album of all time. I can't help but fall asleep when I hear Halford singing in Tyrant. |

Media Overkill on Scorpions' Savage Amusement. I really tried to like this album, the only stong that stuck is the aforementioned. |

If we forget the "shitty" tag and talk about masterpiece songs on "inferior to the rest of band records", Fear of the dark & Paschendale are the first ones to come to my mind. |

Imo Media overkill is one of the worst song in that album (with Passion Rules The Game & Every Minute Every Day). |
