Where you get that irresistable urge to bang your head like no one's watching. Gaza -- He Is Never Coming Back That main riff. Goddamn. Headbanging fuel forever. That 3/4 over 4/4 feel is so badass. Gaza -- Cult That breakdown. Holy fuck. Architect -- The Awakening The opening riff. Just bursts out of nowhere. Architect -- Broke Dick Dog The whole song is pretty much headbanging fuel. I know there are more, but I just can't think of them right now. |

Comes to mind right now... Grave Digger - Rheingold : the opening Testament - Down for Life : the opening Judas Priest - Electric Eye : from the riff right after the solo to the end of the song. Power Quest - Battle stations (instrumental) : powerful headbanging material The Crown - Deathrace King : The whole fucking album. And not a riff but I actually broke my neck on the chorus of Accept - Shake your heads. Udo asking you to shake your head is an offer you just cannot decline. I get back to you with some more. |

I think The Crown song that makes me headbang the most is Natashead Overdrive. Now I'm in the mood for some Crown. ![]() |

Lots of good choices. First thing that came to my mind was Deathspell Omega-Kenose: Track 1 at about 8 minutes. |

Anaal Nathrakh - When Humanity Is Cancer: I just have to headbang to it since destroying everything with a fucking sledgehammer would get me into trouble. That opening riff drives me nuts every time. |

Stormwarrior - Metal Legacy, the main riff. Nothing special about it, but I just can't stay put while listening to it. |

Fuck Gaza is awesome and I don't normally like bands with heavy hardcore influences. Hadn't heard of them until I checked this thread so thanks ![]() |

The riffage section between 4:00 and 6:00 of The World as a Dome by Anubis Gate singlehandedly justifies my interest in metal. Oddly the riff/lead interplay reminds me of the very best of Rotting Christ--inspiring, triumphant, persevering. No youtube link as of yet, but I'll post one when it comes up. |
