I know that it isn't even 2012 yet but im looking for a good metal fest to go to in america because mayhem and ozzfest usually has a shitty list and all. Can you guys tell me some names? or do i have to go to Europe for a good one? |

I'll say. Here's some of the one's I'd love to see on that line up: NAPALM DEATH ARTILLERY GHOUL MACABRE BRUJERIA ANVIL AUTOPSY DYING FETUS In Australia our metal festivals are shit with lots of commercial, radio friendly pop drivel. When it comes to Metal, Australia is the UNlucky country. |

Not to mention the lighter stuff like Agalloch or Castevet. Yob, Noothgrush, Electric Wizard, Church of Misery, Cough, Ulcerate and Dragged into Sunlight are going to bring the heavy crushing doom. Anvil would be great to see and when else do you get to see Negura Bunget in the states? MDF is always legit. Go. I want to. |

There's also Gigantour with Megadeth, Motörhead, Volbeat, and Lacuna Coil. And Summer Slaughter isn't awful usually. And Paganfest: http://lambgoat.com/news/17411/Turisas- ... tress-tour |

This year's Mayhemfest lineup according to last.fm: Behemoth Amon Amarth Rob Zombie Children of Bodom Deftones Job for a Cowboy Chelsea Grin Five Finger Death Punch In This Moment Killswitch Engage I really want to see Behemoth given that they'll probably only do one US tour, but damn this lineup kinda blows. And if Behemoth isn't headlining the small stage then I would be kinda disappointed to see them from far away or with a smaller set... |
