I think Trapt just likes Howlin Wolf a lot!

I like the blues, but I don't tend to listen to a broad selection of artists. Just throw some Wolf or Tom Waits or whoever on when I'm in the mood...

I am just getting started with Blues music, but my wife has a much stronger knowledge/appreciation for it. I know she love Howlin Wolf and Muddy Waters, and I really enjoy John Lee Hooker.

I think this video is pretty awesome. He is just in such a zone, working his feet as a beat to go along with his guitar. I know plenty of others do that as well, but this is one that sticks with me.

much the same I like blues but don't have a great deal of variety in the blues I listen to

would probably put Robert Johnson as my favourite with Muddy Waters a close second

Someday I'll probably find the blues album that will click with me and I'll fall in love with it, but I haven't come across it yet.

Ooh yes. One of the few musical recommendations my dad's ever made that was worth listening to after the age of 10!

I love the blues but also restrict my listening to a few select artists...Gary Moore, SRV, Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd...

All I was saying is that Wolf is the end all, be all of blues. The man is amazing.

Dax Riggs' solo output is some pretty solid white guy blues or at least some blues influenced rock that I really dig. Fans of Acid Bath might like it.

yeah sorry about that comment, I'm normally a happy drunk, but I'm mean when I'm only halfway there which I don't really understand but anyway that's beside the point, saying one guy is the be all and end all of blues yeah I can't agree with that and if you do think that Howlin' Wolf (very good blues I admit) is all you need I think you may be missing out on some good stuff

tempted to start threads for classical music and flamenco but I think I'd probably be the only one who likes some of that stuff

I'd talk about classical music with you! Flamenco, you might be on your own.
