It is time. New Cynic due in Feb, called "Kindly Bent to Free Us". Honestly not sure what I think of the first track from them so far, lovely playing but weird song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTmsaoSebYo#t=247 Drudkh are putting out a rarities compilation (including the Anti-Urban EP tracks!) and a split with Winterfylleth, which sounds interesting. Drudkh track from that at http://www.stereogum.com/1587161/drudkh ... iere/mp3s/ (Heyfeystos cover (never heard of them) not bad, nothing really spectacular if you've heard lots of Drudkh but they're always pretty solid) and Winterfylleth track at http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/exclu ... r-version/ (cover of Hate Forest's The Gates, pretty true) New Grand Magus, Anthrax, Agalloch, Blind Guardian, Godflesh, Maiden, Obituary, Tool, and Triptykon expected this year, fingers crossed for a good one. Also, we get to hear Slipknot without Joey Jordison, which considering he was one of the most metal-friendly members of the band, probably means they'll carry on sounding like a slightly angry Stonesour... |

I do look forward to new Anthrax and Tryptikon. Tool will be interesting, although I suspect it's just gonna be Lateralus/10000 Days all over again, they hit the wall soundwise. |

Not when it's gonna be released, but Thee Silver Mt. Zion have a new one called Fuck Off Get Free We Pour Light on Everything. Considering how righteous last year's GY!BE album was, I'm hoping this one will be of the same quality. |

Necros Christos will release one EP and one new album before disbanding in 2014: --------------------------------- At the ninth hour, the ninth minute and the ninth second, all flames shall be set on fire within the grand hall of worship. Moreover, brethren and sisters, we declare unto you the new gospel of the anointed dead yet breathing Christ, let it be known widely that a new release is soon to be at hand. Scheduled to be released in early May 2014, NECROS CHRISTOS shall unveil an EP entitled NINE GRAVES. It will consist of two new yet unheard songs (not to be featured on the last and final album), as well as two old demons clothed in new vestments. Also featuring four temples and one gate, the overall nine tracks shall function as a bridge between the old and new path the grand NECROS CHRISTOS is walking upon. To be released on Sepulchral Voice and Ván Records, we´re proud to announce that the artwork of NINE GRAVES shall be created and compiled by Timo Ketola, Manuel Tinnemans and Tlmnn Shepherd.
