Must be a contradictory thing to discuss. Yeah, we love bands, we trip on them and some of us end up being fanboys. But isn't there something about your fav band that irritates you or something you would like to see the band stop doing over and over again? Lemme start with God Dethroned. I love that band. But there is just one thing I hate. They most always seem to have some stupid part where the vocalist screams yah yah yah yah......... oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh. Either both or one of those things and it sounds terrible when they are both done one after the other. There was a time(especially during the Blaze era) where the moment you hear the intro/lead of a Maiden song, you know what the tune of the song is going to be like, or there will be a lead tune followed by a similar vocal one immediately after that. Also felt this thing about a soft intro bursting into something heavy gets too repetitive with Maiden. They are not a major irritant though, it's pretty tolerable. But guess I tend to overlook those cos I'm a Maiden fanboy. Apart from that, I really don't find anything that I hate about my other fav bands. Wat about the other folks?

I hate how The Postman Syndrome broke up, lost one of their guitarist/vocalists (who apparently was responsible for all the interesting riffs and singing) and their drummer, then reformed as bastardized, trendy emo prog-meets-Isis version of their sound.

My favorite band is Metallica. You guys know what I'm going to say. I hate half the music they've released for the past decade and all of St. Anger.

As for other thingss, Danzig and Phil Anselmo are two of the hardest singers to understand. Danzig mumbles and Anselmo is just generally incoherent in some songs. Example for Danzig is Snakes of Christ nobody knows what the fuck he's saying.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ! That post made my day. The laughter had nothing to do with Metallica being your fav band. The last two sentences made me laugh.

I think all he had to say was "My favourite band is Metallica."

I think I can speak on behalf of my girlfriend in that I think just about every one of her favorite bands has either split up or significantly changed styles (and not for the better) over the last two or three years. Peccatum, Nightwish, Tristania, Sirenia, After Forever...

The only things that immediately stick out to me are that My Dying Bride is still releasing mediocre album after mediocre album (either make something really good or call it a day, dammit) and that Emperor might make a new studio album. I cringe at the thought of that...

well.. i have no real favourite bands... but i hate that most of them are bands (bm-wise) with musicians who are pretentious jerks

I hate that Tool have played somewhere I can see them once in their entire careers, and that they'll probably never come back

I hate how Weikath in Helloween has to fire people he don't happen to like, and how he thinks he owns that band. I admit though that i can't exactly know what goes on with the band, and of course i don't know Weitkath myself either. I don't think media etc. is a reliable enough source of information.

About Symphony X my other favorite band, i can't find i single thing i dislike about. Im just a shameless fanboy.

I hate how Maiden live sets are always so predictable. The same songs again ... and again ... and again .... and agaaaaaaaaainnnnn ....

My favourite band is Iron Maiden and I hate them for:

-wearing tranny tights back in the 80's
-Bruce Dickinson's stupid fringe during the 80's
-not playing Powerslave and Rime of the Ancient Mariner at gigs anymore
-Bruce's stupid short haircut
-not comin anywhere near South East Asia despite having cult status and an army of die hard fans
