There was a news posting—or was it the review of his new album—where we all bashed him, and then I flip-flopped, feeling bad for him.

Well....yeah, but lots of these irritating folk are a key part of a band that lots of us know and love/like even a little bit. Everyone seemed enamored with Deicide's latest offering, Iced Earth have most of the metalreviews staff bouncing up and down in anticipation of their upcoming release, and I don't think I need to say anything about Metallica that has been said before. I don't really get why people are annoyed by him...say what you like about the music, I've seen a couple interviews with him and he seems like a pretty decent guy.
