After repeated listens the song is extremely boring. No thrashy fast riffs, no obnoxious power metal faggotry, no dual guitar solos, basically nothing like the previous album. This got my hopes down.

And I can't really tell but are the lyrics some right wing, republican, george bush lovin', "our soldiers fight so you can sleep at night" bullshit? Sounds awfully like that to me. Which gets my hopes even more down. The new one will suck.

Well, I will always be a fan of harmonized guitars and solos. A7X were kings of that on the last CD. It sounds like they've pulled back a bit on that signature sound for the Critical Acclaim track. The song never really establishes itself for me. It kind of wanders and the preachy/talking sections are boring as hell. I hope the rest of the CD isn't like this song. However, the upside is that those guys can solo their asses off. I'll be waiting until Halloween to hear the rest.

Agreed, rubbish song. At least Dave Mustaine sounds like he knows what he's on about... :rolleyes:
