I'm surprised Metal fans don't hate Iced Earth for cracking the Billboard 200 with The Glorious Burden (#144 or 145 I believe). Or how about Opeth for actually reaching #64 with Ghost Reveries? And don't forget Dimmu Borgir, who reached #43 with their new album.

Of course, it depends who you ask. Some people hate Opeth and Dimmu, some don't.

I always think it's good when metal bands have success. These people usually have to work their asses off to get recognized.

I don't know why people complain when bands become more popular. For example, the new Dimmu album and especially IMO Ghost Reveries, are fantastic and it's an opportunity to expose quality metal.
