Looks like all these old timers are starting to break down.

It had to happen eventually. When you consider how young metal is... we're probably going to outlive all the greats.

Dio still seems to be in good shape though, and he's much older than Ozzy. He probably did less drugs though.

Who gives a shit. As if he doesn't deserve this. You're not telling me he's lived a healthy life.

He's a ticking timebomb. After all the shit he did in his younger days, his body is reacting to it now. And at his age, he's still being a daredevil doing stunts. Just a matter of time. Keep the tissues on standby mode.

On a another note, I don't think Dio did drugs at all. I stand corrected. He's too wise to do rubbish.

I don't see the big deal. It's not like he's dying or anything.

He's gotta go some time. My guess is some time soon.

Really? he's hung about a lot longer than expected, and he seems to live pretty healthy at the moment. On the subject of whose next for music heaven, my guess is someone completely unexpected. Maybe Michael Jackson?

All credit to Ozzy for managing to survive his drug/alcohol-addled days and still managing to go out there and do his thing. I have to admire him for it because it can't be easy.

BUT...

I think if Sharon was a real wife she'd quit with the greed and encourage him to retire.

damn man...ozzy is a living legend in the music we love and for this fact only being sick is a sad event. Before a couple of years there was this poll in Kerrang UK about who you think is satan...Sharron got second place trailing only to George Bush. This bitch almost destroyed ozzys name in metal fans and for that she diserves the worst...I watched a DIO interview saying he never did drugs and its a fact that in 1990 he almost canceled the tour with megadeth and savatage because the oliva brothers and mustain were stoned all the time...

That would piss me off too.

More proof that Dio is a God. Really, that man's commitment to music does astound me.

Long live DIO !! Now that's what I call a true professional musician. And that's another reason I love Maiden, they never condone drugs.

Let's not make this thread an anti Sharon one. I think we have thousands of it on MR.
