The Mars Volta is ridiculously overrated! In fact, without indie nerds that love to follow trends we'd never discuss this band. They have some good songs, but overall they're terrible.

I used to find TMV really annoying, but having softened somewhat, am now waiting for Francis The Mute to arrive.
