Because I didn't come here and start flaming in my first five posts, got to know the people and realized that there are a lot of cool people here.

I haven't flamed yet, sir. I made a general statement, it wasn't directed at any particular person.

Somehow you managed to piss off a lot of people.

Are you one of those persons?

I think what he means is, most people introduce themselves rather than bash people's opinions on a particular band.

You managed to generalize a whole lot of people right out the gate. You have 13 posts and you've pissed a lot of people off. I really like HIM and I listen to everything from death metal to Ani Difranco so I am not one of the people you described, but your posts have annoyed the shit out of me.

You're acting like a 12 year old who thinks he knows everything about music and instead of discussing it like an adult you just go on some unnecessary rant. You will find that this is one of the most open-minded music forums around, but no one is so open-minded as to accept an asshole into the discussions. Keep that in mind.

You're probably mistaking sarcasm between people that know each other for insults. No one really insults anyone around here.

Nah, I can tell sarcasm. Most of the stuff from the past few pages is sarcasm, I wasn't really referring to any of that stuff in my former posts, I can tell it's sarcasm.

If you can tell sarcasm you wouldn't have said:

Bands like HIM aren't appreciated for their music, but for their frontman. Come on, you think all those screaming girls are into the vaguely gothic pop-rock? Hmm. Far better bands around, and if you need something different from the heavy stuff, go for some classical, or post-rock, or jazz. No need to go for the commercial shite!

Apparently Mr. HIM never showers. Not sure about that, but I can see it. He looks a bit white trash to me.

If Bam Margera came out and said "HIM is the worst band in the world!" tomorrow, HIM to go back to mainstream obscurity.

I already cleared that up, I said I wasn't referring to the more recent posts in this topic. You're right with the Margera thing, HIM wouldn't be near as big in the U.S. without him. I dont see how he has so many fans -_-
