As I stated elsewhere, I bought Come Clarity this morning and finished listening to it about an hour ago. Overall.....
This is the best In Flames album since Clayman IMO. The songs sound much more diverse and complex than on Soundtrack To Your Escape (which suffered from every song sounding too much the same), and they also sound tighter and much more focused than on Reroute To Remain.
I think my favorite song is Dead End. Lisa Miskovsky's a surprisingly good vocalist. I'm surprised that here in the States, she's largely unheard of while Britney Spears (who can't sing for beans) is this big pop sensation. It's actually kind of cool hearing that style of singing in a metal song (let alone in conjunction with Ander's screaming). She's pretty too.
Other great songs include Crawl Through Knives, the title track, Take This Life, and Pacing Death's Trail.
89/100 from me.
