Hmmm. I actually found My Arms Your Hearse and Still Life much harder to get into unlike the ones i mentioned.

I think GR is probably the best album for beginners, because it covers all the key Opeth aspects, meaning that IMO it has the best balance of heavy/light parts and unlike albums like Still Life, it doesn't take to many listens to absorb all the riffs and changes. Though for me, Still Life is their best.
