Was anybody else strongly reminded of Judas Priest with Bite The Hand? Believe it or not, when I first heard that main riff, I expected to hear Halford screaming/screeching. But nope. It was just Mustaine growling/snarling.
Anyway, great review. But one small quibble. I would argue that, musically-speaking, Anthrax has probably been the most consistent of the Big Four. Granted, some of their releases were better than others. But, unlike the other three bands (with the exception of Slayer for me, but I know almost everybody here will disagree with that), Anthrax has never released a really bad album.
I'd give this album probably about an 85/100. Actually, I think I'd rank all Megadeth albums as follows:
Killing Is My Business - Haven't Heard
Peace Sells... But Who's Buying - 84/100
So Far, So Good, So What - Haven't Heard
Rust In Peace - 94/100
Countdown To Extinction - 84/100
Youthanasia - 88/100
Cryptic Writings - 85/100
Risk - 40/100
The World Needs A Hero - 70/100
The System Has Failed - 92/100
United Abominations - 80/100
Endgame - 85/100
I was taking you seriously and thinking you had some credibility on the subject of Megadeth (even after the Anthrax comments...) until you said you haven't heard KIMB or SFSGSW. So, you need to stop, go listen to those and then write your posts about Megadeth. Until then, you can not be taken seriously.
