Opeth is the most overrated band ever. Complexity does not mean random riffs here and there. In this case it's like you know you have to shit and you sit on the toilet but just cant get the crap out no matter how hard you push.

That prety much covers my opinion of this album.

lol! very descriptive, but im gonna have to disagree on that. Opeth is original and each of them are muiscal genusies. I know many people would disagree with me on that but, i guess you really have to have an ear for Opeth, every millisecond is something totally unexpected and so damn amazing that it blows me away. By the way, do you hate this album or Opeth all togeather?

Brother, you sound like an exciteable person. Nothing wrong with that, of course....

Oh come on, that shit was hilarious.

Yeah I found it quite funny.

Quite an intersting album in my mind. Great that they are doing so well in the US. First week sales were insane.

Damn, 10 pages on a single review. There sure is something special about Opeth no matter how you look at it.

Being controversial doesn't make you special. The controversy surrounding Opeth is merely due to the extreme opinions concerning the band. They're very much a 'love or hate' bunch.

Nothing that special. They're just the controversy of the week in the metal community. Next year, it'll be someone else entirely.

Indeed, well put.
I guess they are as special as people see them. And that goes for all bands.

IMO the new Opeth is good, but that is only because the only other album I've heard from them is Blackwater Park , which is awesome :D
