This album is wank! Their worst by miles and just another step for Muse to gridlock the UK alternative chart whilst still selling enough albums to make a living. In other words this album is far from metal and is a misguided attempt to be 'artistic' in the UK pop-rock scene.
Admittedly 'Knights of Cydonia' is arguably the best thing they have ever done, song wise, but the shitty electro-disco that runs through several other songs just makes the ambience of the album simply balls. Earlier Muse albums sustained interest by possessing killer riffs, but, 1 song aside, I find this contrived bollocks designed to bother the charts.
In addition, I hate his voice! Arguably more than any other singer in the pop/rock genre (possibly in my top-ten all genre covering). Screechy, whiney little bitch!
