The nearest record shop's a long, long way away from me, sadly... that yesterday was over the internet. I do occassionally bid on eBay if the artist has an interesting name, though, without knowing anything else.

Impulse and random buys are shit 99% of the time, but that ONE time you get something great it's a fucking great feeling.

I got quite a lot of great albums on impulse buy... But then, that was back when there were fewer albums released and the better ones had the best artwork too.

I still do it quite a bit, that's why i got into bands like Municipal Waste, and come to think of it metal at all. I bought Iron Maiden-S/T because I liked the cover. It cost me £4 new, good times.
