i didn't write anything for a long time here, but this album and review made me post at least a few words :)

Nice review, but an even better album, this was my first encounter with iron fire and i must say i'm veeery surprised with their music.

"To the grave" is an exemplar of how a modern power/speed/heavy metal CD should sound. I wouldn't agree with the comparison to hamerfall tough, maybe a mix of the new avantasia/masterplan, or maybe axxis. It's got all the good and modern elements: great production and sound, no cheesy ballads (every song is heavy and pretty fast), super riffing and choruses that stay in your head in the shower, and the usage of growling from time to time
:dio:

The vocals are good, i didn't find his singing sooo extraordinary, and i liked the already mentioned growling, it makes them sound heavier. Sometimes he reminded me of Halford (when he is not screaming).
Fav song - Demon master, Hail to Odin!
