Ok back on topic.

Excellent review Charles, love this album and although it wasnt influential enough to be a CLASSIC by this site standards i think its a cult classic, you can obviously hear the influence of legend on Slough Feg and like them im sure that many diehard metalheads praised this album back in the day.

Oh and this part:

I don’t believe in giving perfect scores. If I am trapped in a bear pit and I can use an album to fend off a pack of hungry grizzlies, then it might get a 99/100

Thanks, Voice. I totally agree with the Slough Feg comparison, and probably would have put it in the review had it occured to me at the time.

Well they did cover "The Wizard's Vengeance" on twilight of the idols thats why i though it was obvious.

I know there were some plans of reissuing this album but i havent heard a release date or anything more about it, either way some label should really pick up this gem and re-release it, i know a lot of metal heads would apreaciate it, my bet would be the Miskantonic Foundation or Eat Metal Records.

There isn't one album in the shitload I own with which I would say it has "all killer songs", I can always single out my fav' and so should an apt reviewer.

Must you always be so condescending? It really gets old.

I wasn't. Sorry that you took it that way Adam.

Rio did write an awesome review singling out some songs in it. Said songs are, obviously, special to him so I was just wondering why the hell they didn't appear in the killer songs section instead of an "all" that gives a fanboy impression not suited for a reviewer.
I would have been much better that he wrote "all but xxx & xxx even more" or something like that.

How else should it be taken? You called him lazy and inept. Maybe instead of going with your stock answer of me "taking it the wrong way", you should work on not coming off so arrogant and pompous. Apparently, constructive criticism is a skill you have yet to learn.

Anyways, I have this, but the vocals somehow ruin it for me.

I don't get what is so great about Slough Feg... I gave them a chance, I really did, but I just can't seem to enjoy them.
Another one where I am the odd one out, I guess.

They're not a big favourite of mine either. I think they're good, just not something I listen to that frequently. That's why the comparison didn't really occur to me. (Although yeah, I was aware they covered Wizard's Vengeance, but I forgot about that when I wrote this)

Can't believe someone reviewed this album. Probably one of the most obscure hidden gems in the history of metal. Great great album. Manilla Road before manilla road.

I do... once listened to the album, to see if my killing songs match with the reviewer ones.

Great find, Sir! There is just some sort of, how do I describe it, classic rock purity to this release, especially in the riffs.

Still kind of annoyed when reviewers don't add any killing songs :P
