I might say that thing what you alluded to if I listened to Nile or metal anymore, neither of which I do.

What are you doing here then?

.:crast:.

Exactly what I thought.

I'll have to pick this up, the track on their myspace sounds badass.

what do you care?

We DON'T care, that's the point. If we wanted to know how much metal you don't listen to, we'd ask. I'm under the impression this forum is for people who actually care about the music.

Annnnnd I was under the impression that being mentioned in a review would entitle you to respond to the review in its forum thread regardless of whether or not you listen to metal.

Unless you ban me I'm going to continue posting in helheim. Nothing you can do about that, buddy.

Haven't you heard, he's a Muslim now.

Doesn't matter. He removed the hammer, but still has the sickle.

Close to being as good as In Their Darkened Shrines for me.

Here is where the new album fits into my Nile-Albums list:

1. In Their Darkened Shrines
2. Amongst The Catacombs Of Nephren-Ka
3. Annihilation Of The Wicked
4. Black Seeds of Vengeance (tie)
4. Those Whom the Gods Detest (tie)
6. Ithyphallic

I love the new album, but I wish Karl would have sung more :/

The last three songs are brutal.

For whatever reason I don't particularly like Darkened Shrines. It's not bad or anything, but I never really found the will to listen to it more often.

Nice list, Amongst the Catacombs is absolutely amazing, easily a favorite of mine.

Pretty boring band imo. Constant double bass duggaduggadugga death metal has kinda gotten old for me.

I think you're lying! I don't remember hearing Ithyphallic but apparently I posted in the review thread but it wasn't the most positive of comments so... maybe?

Just listened to Kafir! on Youtube. Earned a prolapse as a result.

The rest of the album isn't as instant and awesome, but grows on you rapidly. Kafir! is killer though.

his vocals were a little more clearier on this album then the previous..albeit slightly weaker.
I don't know never really thought of him as a particularly good vocalist..
