I'm far from a "Jew-hater" myself, but Kroda's guitarist did not sympathize with any Nazi agenda and wasn't a "genocidal flute player." Why don't you try reading some interviews or ask Werewolf guy himself what he believes. I doubt he'd kill anyone either. It's shocking to think that maybe some artists do stupid shit for attention or recognition from the "underground"?

What the fuck are you talking about? There were 2 people in Kroda, and now it's down to 1, and their guitarist played all of the folk instruments and wasn't "genocidal."

I think someone can enjoy the music despite what the lead singer of SW thinks about any religion. It's funny because Werewolf Tyrant w/e is a fat, basement-dwelling, nerd with thick glasses at his live shows. Some bands I like have some people in it with stupid views, but that doesn't mean I agree with them.

I never said that I didn't like Satanic Warmaster - reactions to music are more complex than love/hate, as you point out yourself. And I mentioned Dimmu re the 'doing stupid shit for attention' point, which you seem fine with when it's toying with the NS world, but I presume you're against when it's wearing white fur coats and gurning. Of course, it really isn't news to anyone that Satanic Werewolf Tyrant is a fat nerd, 'strength' and 'honour' being typical obsessions for people with neither.

"Genocidal Flautist" would make a great title for someone, though.

Had to comment on this, so lets just get it out of the way. I dont know why but this has to the biggest dissapointment for me this year. Everything should be just awemomex on this one, but something just seems to be missing, that little somethink.... Maybe It's that blurring effect?

I wish I could find a raw black metal album like such, but with decent drumming. Maybe I am just being a snob, but the only thing keeping me from getting really really excited is hearing the drums on this record. I don't mind the production at all. Make the drums sound raw as fuck, but get someone who can really play. I know its asking for much, its just my input on what this album, and a lot of the genre is missing.

I know the music doesn't call for masterful and over the top drumming, but I'd just like to hear a guy who actually knows how to play rather than what seems like a "makeshift drummer." By this I mean its sounds like they asked one of their buddy's, "Yo man, start playing the drums I need to record some shit, its real simple."

I still enjoy the sound, but getting a solid drummer would enhance it bigtime.
(to clarify, see Sargeist-disciple.... and winter of apokalypse-solitary winter night for examples of exceptional drumming that do not go beyond their creative boundaries)
