Anyway, on my scale this album barely passes the 50. Very disappointing.

I remember bitching about this quite often. Certain reviewers are really bad for it and to be honest I don't even look for the score any longer.

50-69 - Try at your own risk

The 2nd scale is infinitely better.

The 1st scale is illogical and ignores most of the scale (i.e. 0-65 crap).

It also ignores standard grading systems where 50% is a pass/ok/mediocre.

True, though my logic does kinda apply to both those statements hence why they're grouped together.

the 1st scale isn't a proposal of an alternative scale, but an interpretation of the current one.
and I pretty much agree with it.

I'm listening to this now and it's very good and I am shocked!

The 80 score is fair if anything maybe a bit low for me.
