Why give this to a reviewer who is just going to say " But it's not old In Flames "? Typical.

Would like to hear an opinion from someone who liked A Sense of Purpose .. the reviewer mentioned classics a-plenty, but nary a comparison to their most recent.

Personally I liked ASOP a lot and have no complaints about the album whatsoever, it's my second favorite to Reroute to Remain. That being said there are some moments where In Flames is adrift on this album and I was wondering why they made that part of the song or why even bother with the song ( There are 13, probably could have dropped 1 or 2. The interlude and the final song for sure. ).

I'd have to rate it around a 75-80/100. There are many strong moments on the album and I'm glad they're still doing work, especially without Jesper for the time being.

Can't wait to see them live here in a few weeks.

I think In Flames catches more shit for being In Flames than the quality of the material they put out. I have listened to all of this yet, but its definitely not the turd its being made out to be. Better than A Sense of Purpose and Come Clarity already, and miles beyond STYE.

I actually read a review that compared it to Reroute to Remain without the shitty production of that album, and I tend to agree with that comparison. It has many of the same elements as that album, but it is much stronger in presentation.

Will be reviewing this album in a bit, not that it will score very high from me.

I haven't listened to In Flames in ten years and I couldn't care less about the public's appraisals of their albums. Even so, this album blows chunks. If there were a mall in my hometown, this is what I'd put on during visits to it.

Especially if the mall had an elevator.

First off, I never praised Limp Bizkit. I only said that review was pointless and a waste of time for a metal review website. Although, I didn't understand the Public Enemy reference. You must read and also comprehend to accurately comment on my posts. Do not assume. You make an ass out of you and me. hahaha I've always wanted to say that.

The Public Enemy reference is because the review is written using the same rhyme structure and similar words to Bring The Noise which was an Anthrax/Public Enemy collaboration.

It was featured on the 1991 Anthrax compilation "Attack of the Killer B's".

See, I never understood that saying... if say for instance you assume something about me, how does that make me an ass?

Hmmmm:

"Many other sites gave this album positive reviews. I'm just saying. I haven't heard this album, but the time you put into hating this album is puzzling. Have you liked any Limp Bizkit album? If not, why do a completely biased review? Why waste the space you could have used to do a legitimate review? Why review a band's new album if you hate the band anyway? A for effort, but why even put forth the effort? I guess cause you figured out a cool Durst like rap review. Did this site force you to do this review or something? Whatever the reason, this review is a waste of my time and yours"

Sounds like you were defending them to me. Might not be directly but indirectly you were because if you didn't give a shit about Wimp Bisquick you wouldn't have even cared about attacking Goat and his review.

You're the ass in this one not me.

For instance, you assumed that I was defending Limp Bizkit. That made me look like an ass. It also made you look like an ass because you were wrong and did not accurately represent my post. I was actually just saying that other sites had completely opposite reviews, and that was probably due to the fact this site is no place for a unbiased Limp Bizkit review. I checked other site's reviews because I was curious whether this review was biased or not. I found that other sites that cover popular rock type stuff were giving the album decent reviews. This is probably due to the fact they are into radio rock to begin with. It's like a Hip Hop site reviewing the new Borknagar album. Even if they have an open mind, do you think they would like it? I highly doubt Borknagar would recieve an unbiased review on a Hip Hop site. I happen to agree with most of Goat's reviews in general and I am not bashing his humorous review. I believe that Goat truly had an open mind going into it, but that doesn't mean his taste in music was going to change. If it sounded like Limp Bizkit it would get dissed and if it would have sounded like Emperor it wouldn't have, but what were you expecting seriously. In retrospect Alexander made me realize Goat was having fun; plus I didn't get the satire originally becuase I have never listened to Public Enemy. I get that the review was a joke now.

Voxmonster, I think you have me mixed up with MS... this is between you two.
I'm not getting involved with this argument, just making a quip about an old saying.

I was directly attacking this site for wasting time reviewing an album 99% percent of the people who visit this site would never listen to anyway. The joke was over my head cause I don't listen to Public Enemy and vaguely recall the Anthrax and Public Enemy song. I guess you can make whatever assumptions you like. I am telling you what my motive was honestly though.

I would love to argue more. I do enjoy debating, but I think I got my point across and I am sorry for any unintentional rudeness.

Your tattoo is beyond stupid. Your point on anything is therefore invalid. In Flames is terrible (now).
