3 old men fighting to the death. Where's V to be our special guest referee?

Steve can do play-by-play.

 Love it!

I'd pay to watch my death here.

No problem Raven. It seemed to me that particular brand of well-polished heavy rock is not your cup of tea (judging on your posts on the now playing thread), so I'm not surprised. Except I find your first comment exceptionally aggressive for an honest piece of music such as this.
Kinda like how I find this post rather condescending?

Or the part a few posts up where he refers to the collective you as 'kids'. Stefan, just because you are as old as dirt doesn't make us all kids. I'm slightly less older than dirt, afterall. :D

Hey! Get off my dirt! :)

Anyone that expects this to be Iron Maiden 2.0 needs to put down that bottle of JD(or insert your favorite hard liquor).

 Right you are.
Coming back to the album, give it another chance someday, when you're in the mood for old men's music.

That's was my absolute honest first opinion of the album and it still is. I'm surprised that more people don't recognize this for the steaming pile of...oops I almost did it again :)
This was a great review and I'm not trying to attack your reviewing skills but I do agree with raven. Taking into account that it's a solo album and judging this work based solely on its worth I think a 60 would of been generous. But this is my opinion. And to quote my self... Opinions are like assholes...everybody got one! Great review regardless if I agree Frenchman.

Listened to this without expecting an Iron Maiden album.

In fact I went in expecting pop rock.

I think it's ok musically but it's nothing spectacular.

I think the singer lacked power - there were bits where one expected soaring vocals but the singing is extremely constrained and he sounds a bit uncomfortable.

I think someone more in vein of David Coverdale (White Snake) would've been a better way to go about it.

EDIT: Adrian Smith's Primal Rock Rebellion is more interesting than this.
