OK, I am by no means a metal purist, but I don't see what is good about this band. Experimental hardcore + annoying keyboards = average at best crap. If you like this kind of stuff, there are so many bands doing far better stuff. Here is a list:

The Bled - Experimental hardcore, excellent songwriters
Borg 64 - Industrial punk/hardcore, this is how you use keyboards. www.borg64.com
Alec Empire (Fururist album) - ex Atari Teenage Riot guy, very good industrial punk.
Atari Teenage Riot - Worth checking out.
Alexisonfire - Emocore, but good.

And to the members of Horse TB: making stupid faces and pretending to be insane is no longer valid marketing.

yeah i saw them live, it was very interesting. about half the people got really into them (physicaly). Mentaly i think everyone was on the same page, they put on a good show. I belive you pronounce it "Alexis On Fire" ive heard other people say "Alex Is On Fire" but it dosn't seem to flow as well.

It's "Alexis On Fire". Try www.alexisonfire.com , that's where the name comes from.

His earlier solo stuff is more industrial, less punky.

I happened to hear Birdo today, how awesome is that? Pretty awesome indeed. Fun and stuff. I can't believe I didn't try this when I read the review, must have been the "core" word that put me off.
