Insult me all you want but I don't like Painkiller except a few songs. I think it is poorly produced. I think the lyrics are horrible and that at least 4 songs are pure filler. You can like it all you want though.

Yeah, me and millions of other people. And I wasn't insulting you. I can do a lot better than that.

I don't care what you and another Million people like. Painkiller is a weak album and is below Priest standards starting with Sad Wings of Destiny and ending with Defenders of the Faith. It is just well loved because:

A. People say it is great so therefore it is. I couldn't believe when I first got online and looking around Metal sites how many people worshipped this mediocre album (Similiar to Rust in Peace fanatasism)

B. It seemed really good at the time because:
1. Priest hadn't put out in album in awhile
2. Metal was flagging big time unless you were into the underground or germany.
3. Compared to the shit that was Turbo and Ram it Down it was a Masterpiece.

C. Sure there are good songs on it, but it isn't great, not by the biggest strech of the imagination but compared to other popular Metal acts (commercial) at the same time it might be considered great since not that much true Metal being done at that point by recoginized bands.

You are incapable of accepting that your opinion is not either right or the only opinion. It's amazing, really, to see you go on and on and pretend like you're "discussing" music when all your words do is say you're wrong, I am right.

Painkiller is an awesome album! A classic metal album! Those opinions are shared by the vast majority of the metal world. They're wrong and you're right? I realize it's opinion and you're welcome to yours, but you've got all these ridiculous theories that have absolutely fucking nothing to do with anything. You're trying to justify your opinion, knowing it's in the minority, by implying that everyone else is crazy. Painkiller is great because they hadn't released and album in a while? Painkiller was the first Priest album I'd ever owned! It had nothing to do with it being their first album in a while. It had nothing to do with what else was being coddled by mainstream media. My opinion is based solely on that album and that album alone.

Quit trying to justify your goddamn opinion with these ridiculous theories as to why everyone else's opinion is wrong. It's stupid.

My whole point wasn't getting into another stupid tired Painkiller is awesome or Painkiller is overrated filler argument again. The purpose was to point out the most people who love Painkiller or some reason don't like Primal Fear.

Primal Fear are an OK band. Took me a while to get into them, because of the Priestisms, but a decent Power Metal* band nonetheless.








*Oh, sorry, I meant Heavy Metal. Or True Metal. Or Thrash Metal. Whichever one Leeee says is OK.

I never said your opinion of Painkiller was wrong, what I said was IN MY OPINION it is a weak album full of filler. I know others that feel the same way so is no big deal. I know others that tell me I am full of shit, I can take it.

I think Memorial is a medoicre album from Moonspell and not even half of what they are capable of doing as well. That doesn't mean you and the Millions of fans around the world can't enjoy it.... Does it, or you have to have my approval to enjoy something? I didn't think so.

Yes, you did give your opinion on the album, but that's not all. You then continued to post all these reasons why everyone else is wrong. Like I said above, you can't accept the opinions of others (even though you say you can). If you had no problem with others' opinions you would post your and leave it at that, not break down every angle as to why someone would like something and why they're wrong. Just look at the beginning of this reply of yours! You're implying that someone can't think for themselves, that they like Painkiller because someone told them to like Painkiller, or that they're following the flock, a sheep. That's bullshit. It all comes back to one thing: You want to be right and can't accept that you may be wrong, or that others may disagree with you.

Yeah, but only at maxboxing.com, is my fave site, that and fightnews and Pedro Fernandez site at ringtalk.com. I have been a fan of his a long, long time. I first got the internet in like 96 or so just because of an article I read in Ring magazine about the AOL boards.

Anyways I am fanatical about boxing. Fave fighters are guys like Barrera, Eric Morales, De La Hoya, Winky Wright, Jose Luis Castillo, Jorge Acre and old school Mexican fighters. older school Terry Norris, Larry Holmes, Virgil Hill, Mike McCallum, Iran Barkley, Ray Leonard etc......

I don't argue on boxing boards, I know how moronic a lot of the fans are and I am not into it. I might check it out though, I like to talk to educated boxing fans not moronic UFC fans.

We will see with Winky, Shit I thought Hops def beat Taylor the first one or should have been a draw. Hell if he wasn't so old he would have KO'd his ass. Second one I gave to Taylor. I could see Winky winning, I like him but it will be tough, he is probably going to get dropped too. Off topic but thoughts on Tarver - B Hops? De La Hoya - Mayweather?

It's not what you think. There's a little sub-culture there complete with its own words and phrases. Alt-accounts are a regularity and they're usually pretty funny. People argue, but it's nothing like here. Of course there are those that will argue the most ridiculous shit, I always argue that the canvas knocked Roy Jones out in the Glen Johnson fight, not the punch. It's funny. Lots of extremely knowledgable and smarts dudes there, but if you create an account people will assume it's an alt-account for a good while.


Taylor won boths fights. Hopkins waited too long to turn it on. I don't think he would have KO'd Taylor, he never had him hurt, just overwhelmed. I think Taylor will either destroy Winky or it'll be a snooze-fest and he'll win a UD.

Knocking out legends? His claim to fame is the ONE punch he landed on Jones. One punch. He knocked out ONE legend. That's it. He lost the first fight against Jones, a clearly dehydrated Jones, and struggled in the third fight. He also struggled and lost against Johnson! Yet he's making it look easy? Hahaha. He sucks. All he does is talk shit, he's been doing that his whole career. I think Hopkins is going to knock him out, believe it or not.

As for DLH and Gayweather, Oscar is great, but Gayweather is going to beat him silly.

Of course the Canvas fucked up Roy Jones as much as GJ punch, but Roy was done, he got his ass whipped in that fight bad. It was a bad beatdown, is too bad he won't quit. Sad.

I like Taylor, I like Hopkins more. Taylor didn't take the title but Hopkins certainly didn't do much to keep it the first fight. I would have liked Taylor to do more and he was hurt in the first fight. Look at that right hand he took. I don't care much for Mayweather, he isn't a punk and I was diasspointed he didn't really whip up on Judah and I can respect his skils but I think Jose Luis Castillo beat him when they fought the 1st time. That said, yeah. DLH is slow now, he better land a money left hook or he is in trouble. If he nails Mayweather just once or twice like he did Mayorga in the first round though watch out. Take nothing from DLH he is tough and can go. Should be a good fight.

Taylor isn't going to knock out Winky Wright, much less hit him that much. Trinidad couldn't touch him and I think Trinidad couldgive Taylor a run still. Wright just has that ugly style and that peek a boo guard where he keeps his elbows totally in and his face covered, shit when he is on he is the most displined fighter outside of old school seen in a while. He beat Vargas and got robbed, the only time I saw him get truely beat was against Vasquez when he got dropped like 5 times and it was still close. Anyways, lots of good shit coming up. I hope Cotto whipes the floor with Gotti gangster boy Malaggni or however you spell his name.
