Location: Somewhere between slightly irritated and really pissed off...
I have come to the conclusion that this is a great record. Not only because of the neatly done violin work (which is to expect from Matt Howden) but the flair for evocative tranquility is impressive. I would have liked it even better if the vocal delivery had been a little more subtle, but it still works well with the rest. I always complain about vocals.

I'll score it an astounding 85%

i like the music.. it's wonderful... but i don't appreciate the vox at all... too loud for me, and too christmas-ish+ david bowie kind of.. thingy

too loud in the mix certainly

it reminds me of David Sylvian and Brendan Perry (from Dead Can Dance)

good album 8)
