I have to admit that after a couple more listens, the album is losing me a bit - not all the songs, but there are some that I've currently lost interest in. It has nothing to do with quality, as the music is brilliant, but I think the album's overall theme regarding mental issues has something to do with it. Much of the music reflects those themes well, which is a good thing musically, but it doesn't make for fun, repeat-listening prog/power metal. I think this is an album designed in such a way that you have to be in a certain mood for it, and I'm sure I'll be in the right frame of mind from time to time to get back to it.

I think this album is similar to what BG did with their new album. In one aspect, it harkens to older, heavier stuff. It still maintains some of the bombast from the previous album, but it's more stripped down. Then it pushes some of the more progressive elements as well as try a few new modern sounds. This one is also like ATiTM in the fact that it seems meant to be less "easy" listening. It's not as overall catchy as Angra tends to be, but it's still really good music.

I think it gets boring to easily.

Same it just doesn't hold my interest and I love power/progressive/technical metal but I find myself switching back to other recent releases I like much more. I really like Angra's previous cds which I have played to death but not this one.

Same Here, I totally agree with metalness and scud
