I think this album is similar to what BG did with their new album. In one aspect, it harkens to older, heavier stuff. It still maintains some of the bombast from the previous album, but it's more stripped down. Then it pushes some of the more progressive elements as well as try a few new modern sounds. This one is also like ATiTM in the fact that it seems meant to be less "easy" listening. It's not as overall catchy as Angra tends to be, but it's still really good music.
I think it gets boring to easily.
Same it just doesn't hold my interest and I love power/progressive/technical metal but I find myself switching back to other recent releases I like much more. I really like Angra's previous cds which I have played to death but not this one.
