You actually checked this out? You like power metal?

I try my best to not miss out on all that metal has to offer. I sincerely dig Manticoras latest, although it's pretty dark to be PM. And we already discussed Wintersun, which I adore but from there I can't think of that many power metal bands I like.
It's not that I dislike the genre; I probably just have not heard the right stuff for me yet. As long as there are no AC/DC-complex vocals involved I'd be happy to find out more.

Then listen to Sonata Arctica. Now.

Ah yes, forgot about them. I've heard most of the albums and some songs are nice. Draw me is a killer song.
I don't have Reckoning Night though, should probably check it out. Thanks for reminding me.

I have a friend who like s a lot of the same stuff you like and he loves Sonata. He got started on Reckoning Night. We went to see them live a few months back and he liked them even more afterward.

Even better. I'll get back when I've listened to it enough. Although it might be better to post my impressions of it in another thread than this :)

Not sure if this album warrants a 99...i think a little bias was infused here. But having not heard the album yet, the review made me curious enough to download the album and give it a listen...i havent listened to it yet, though.

For the moment, i still stand by my comment, that i dont think this band have progressed very much since their debut album. Holy War was disappointing, so much so that it made me not interested in hearing Starfall.

99/100...i seriously doubt it....but we shall see.....

Glad I'm not the only one! I really want to find the electonic piece when the horse gets swallowed by the swamp. I can't find it though.

Geez 99. The musicianship is excellent, but apart from that I don;t know that this is anything special. There are too many hardcore-ish parts in the music.

What does that comment have to do with moderating?

It has nothing to do with it. I'm just suprised that out of all the mods you engage in petty little arguments and insult matches the most. And I hope by that comment that you are not implying that you know anything about music either.
