I'm loving this band. I'm listening to Mystic Your Heart (an older album) right now, and it is Bodom to the T. Fucking killer stuff.

This is awesome. Nuclear Trance is my favorite track at the moment and I keep listening to it. If I see this stuff at a good price online I might just have to pick it up.

Checked this band out on MySpace, and they're pretty sweet. Weird how they call themselves screamo, though.

jeez that sounds almost identical to Soilwork's later stuff. Prob not my thing but I like the synths.

This is just beyond weird......lol

You all should check out Shadow's s/t, really good Japanese Melodic Death Metal with a female growler, great album.

Standard stuff, heard it all before. Nothing special about this at all. I'm surprised so many of you guys think this is awesome. I would not be able to tell these guys apart from any other band in the same genre. And while a band does not have to be original or unique to be enjoyable, this albums just right of steals so many things I've heard before and they have done nothing interesting with it.

Seriously, I can't understand the love for this. It is one of the most direct rip-offs of a sound I have ever heard. Sure a little a Japanigation is thrown into the sound but it is 90% purely In Flames circa 1999-2000.

It might be the Japanigation ( ), plus catchiness is a big part. It is a huge rip off of In Flames. That's why I like it so much. If you listen to some of their earlier stuff you'd hear Bodom, and it sounds exactly like Bodom. This definitely appeals to power metal fans. It's very sugar coated. I'd actually call it super cathcy aggressive fruity power metal w/ Japanigation.

Thank you Chris for letting me discovering this awsome band.

I was never too much into InFlames (tried...). But BSC had the additional J-Rock touch which make it sound so much catchier and better (to my hears, no flamming please!).

Hyper Sonic is NOT from this solar system :P The J-Pop style voice during chorus is just too good... Worth buying the album just for that one :P

Right now, I'm into previous album. Track "The Rise Of All The Fall" is simply awsome and I can't stop listening to it. Just incredible...

Anyway, any Melodeath and J-Rock/Pop fan must check this band out.

I don't hate this by any means. Many of the riffs and solos are quite interesting, but I doubt they will ever evolve into something I will wholeheartedly appreciate. Anyhow, we can agree to disagree. :dio:

Edit- I'm glad you enjoy that stupid phrase I made up.

ok, i have a question. isn't j-pop pop in japanese??

that's what i used to think, and that j-pop was only called that because some people (usually anime nerds) think something is really cool/original just because it's from japan.

so where exactly is the j-pop in this? the "clean" vocals?

I'd say the techno parts. Especially the "Nuclear Trance," with the chick singing.

Wow....I can't believe how many people are digging this album. This album is a complete bore to me.

Well there is a very distinctive Luna Sea (and not just because the album contains a cover) vibe to their sound, the choirs sound like Luna Sea, the solo sound very J-rockish (J-pop if you will, but to me bands like X-Japan, Luna Sea, Siam Shade, are J-rock... but maybe I'm inventing here :) ). As a huge fan of the mentioned band, and a good knowledge of many J-rock bands, I can tell you that the influence is there, its difficult for someone who doesn't know these bands or the J-rock sound (nope its not just for nerds), but for someone who knows it, the influence is evident ! Even the guitar intro on Ag2o is typical of Luna Sea's guitar work, the sound, the notes... everything.

Just my 2 cents,
Chris

That's why there is music for everyone, what bores you make another person jump hoops, and vice-versa without a shadow of a doubt :). We all have different taste.

Just my 2 cents,

Chris
