Stanne did not do vocals on Skydancer, save the song "Shadow Duet", in which he played back-up harmony. He picked up vocal duties for the "Chaos and Eternal Night" EP.

Stanne didn't even sing on Skydancer it was A Frieden (Stanne played guitar?), he just did the EP after that and reworked some songs..... I'm pretty sure of that.....

Well, fuck me.

I've only got Character by these guys (which is excellent), but I think I'll go back and get their older stuff before getting this...still looks really good, though. I'll check out the MySpace...

I downloaded this album off the internet and it bored me.

Sadly, I can't demand my money back.

IMO this is the worst album DT ever released 60/100.

That was an example of ken-baiting in action.

Sadly, it failed.

What a fuckin' album. It's got the DT stamp on it but with a reasonable amount of evolution in it, result: another masterpiece.

I was anxious to get my hands on this album and I am not disappointed. Awesome stuff from DT! It's a slight evolution from Character, has a lot more balst beats then ever which elevates the songs, great clean vocal lines on Misery's Crown (think projector) and awesome duet with Theatre of Tragedy's Nell on the song The Mundane and the Magic.

I am thrilled by this release!

Fucking killer disc. I got the limited edition, although the packaging was pretty lazy. The music is incredible though, so I don't care. Dark Tranquillity fucking own melodeth, Fiction pisses all over In Flames' newest album.

It is a wonderful feeling when your favorite band does not disappoint you. Every two years or so I am gathering my breath when DT is about to release another album. I am hoping "no slip", and then they blow me away. They have been doing that for the last 10 years that I have been listening to them.
And if you were not so much into the "slower", "varied" tracks, listen to Inside the Particle Storm with the booklet in your hands. If you don't scared about the future of mankind, then I suggest to bring your 2-yr old son, and sit him right next to you, and play it again, while looking at him playing and glancing at the booklet at the same time.

I forced myself to pull this album out of my stereo.

I dig all the speeds they play at, they really don't have a shit album, although I still have to hear The Gallery and their older stuff like Skydancer.

Also does anyone agree that Stanne probably has the best growled vocals ever?
