Save us now was originally on the "I want out" single.

Nevertheless, Weikath is in my book the major contributor to KOTSK part 2.

Eagly fly free, Dr.Stein, the title track...that's enough for me considering that these three songs are the best ones on it.

And I can further by saying that Weikath is the main contributor of the Helloween's sound if you take Walls of Jericho...
(Intro + 6 songs out of 9)

Anyway, saying otherwise is simply acting like a smartass.

On the other hand one of my favorite Helloween albums (from the Andy Deris era) is the Dark Ride, every song on it is just out of this world. And this CD is as good.

I've heard that Dark Ride is a really good album. I'll have to buy it (as well as Legacy) next time I get the chance. I do seriously doubt that their song "Mirror Mirror" can come even close to the Blind Guardian track of the same name.

Mirror Mirror by Blind Guardian is something out of this world, you are right.

No, he actually loved it and posted that because he wanted to see what we would say...

I knew someone was going to come back with a sarcastic comment! :D It's rhetorical. No need for a reply.

Look at what the tool at Sentinel Steel says (now, remember he's trying to SELL this to people):

HELLOWEEN Keeper of the Seven Keys : The Legacy 2CD digi
As pointed out on at least one metal message board, this is essentially a double disc set containing 2 completely different albums. So basically the buyer is getting 2 albums for the price of one. And here is why: CD 1 is an absolute power metal monster, and is the best Helloween album ever sung by Deris. While not really a "sequel" to the original Keeper albums, it has enough of the trademarks (power, speed, great melodies) to rank it high on the Helloween discography list. In fact there are moments that remind me more of 'Walls of Jericho' (particularly some of the retro drumming) than the later melodic stuff. Alas, while CD 1 gets an enthusiastic thumbs up, CD 2 leaves me confused. CD 2 has 1 or 2 good tracks ("The Shade In the Shadow" for one) but most of the tracks are in that typical Andi Deris writing style, i.e. melodic hard rock, with occasional hints of what Helloween is all about. A shame. Regardless, CD 1 is awesome, and a complete album on its own (similar in length to Keeper 1), so consider CD 2 as a disc of bonus tracks.

I don't care if he points out that the price is the same as one disc, he's essentially saying disc 2 isn't that great, then says please buy it! Pffft! Absoludicrisp.

I think he just wanted to voice his opinion instead of sell copies. He has Keepers I and II listed as "Highest Possible Recommendation." So I can understand him saying what he did. Instead of him saying "Helloween is back and better than ever," he is saying "Helloween has made a solid album and it is worth checking out simply b/c of the first disk." He is all about the music.

Hlaf the people who go there buy cds Denis recommends, like me.

At least he's being honest. Thats generally my review; Disc one is a lot stronger than disc 2.

I can appreciate honesty, I just think a little indifference is needed when you're trying to sell something! Haha. If I ever win the lottery, I'm buying every CD on Sentinel Steel! :D

Everyone have differents tastes. But, honestly, i can't imagine anyone who likes well made melodic heavy metal not liking the Andi Deris era Helloween.
Kepper Of The Seven Keys - The Legacy for me it's 100/100

Sheit...so much more progression and songs containg more than just this rhytmdrumming that used to annnoy me so...the athmospheric keys and even the guitarwork sometimes gave me symphony X vibes
Helloween rules today!
