Yeah, it just seems that no matter what they do, it works. Although Shadows of the Sun wasn't nearly my favorite Ulver album (that title belongs to Perdition City or Blood Inside), Ulver is still one of the most intriguing and unpredictable acts around.

I really like shadows of the sun. I thought it was one of they're more interesting albums to listen to. Its bands like Ulver that really makes me realize all the potential and what you can really do with music

I'm working on this album, listened to it a few times but it did not wow me as much as Blood Inside did. Shadows of the Sun was a grower though, so maybe Perdition City is as well.

I really like everything by Ulver. Shadows of the Sun is probably my favorite release but I can't say it's better than the others, it's just different. It's all different, and great, and that's why I listen to Ulver more than any other band.

Srsly this album is like a bad re-enactment of Kid A where they took out all the hooks and emotion, and made all the songs are twice as long for no reason.

I've really never listened to Ulver. I think I DL'ed a CD of theirs ages ago, and I didn't like it. Maybe I'll give it another listen, but their style of music doesn't really seem like something I will like.
