well, i'm not really sure. right now i feel like they're kind of iffy but there were enough parts i liked that he seemed like one of those like one of those emotional-but-imperfect singers (like Cedric Bixler) that will grow on me a lot as i listen to them more.

I love the vocals. Emotional-but-imperfect is the best way to describe it.

Eeh. His singing tends to sound the same after awhile. I remember reading somewhere someone saying he sounds like Serj Tankian giving a Braveheart speech, and that seems to sum it up pretty well.

That's ridiculous. He's got a great voice, full of emotion and heart-tearingly epic, makes this band as awesome as it is.

His voice fits the band's sound perfectly; it doesn't really matter how "good" he is or isn't, what's important is how he fits into Primordial. Which he does, very well.

When he says "I am my fathers son, and his deeds cannot be undone" in Empire Falls I get goosebumps. Every fucking time. And if you don't there is something wrong with you.

He has moments, and Empire Falls is a great song, but a lot of the time, I'm just not crazy about his voice.
