I like COF. I always have but I have to agree with the review, nothing really jumps out at you as a great track. The CD, unfortunately is a fine representation of what COF has matured into. They've become rather mediocre at best. I really miss the "Dusk & Her Embrace", "Cruelty & The Beast", and "Midian" days. COF has slowly eroded into a band that (to me) seems to be trying to fuse extreme metal with the gothy pop overtures of H.I.M.. :lame:

Thanks for reviewing it guys! I'm still a sucker for COF no matter how lame they become.

Had this not been reviewed yet? I quite enjoyed Nyphetamine, but this never jumped out at me enough to buy it. The "joke cover" on Nymphetamine was actually really good!

What, 'Devil Woman'? It's alright, not as bad as Temptation from this is.

And I know what you mean, Raven - I like Cradle's sound enough to keep listening, hence this getting 60-odd instead of 40-odd. Ironically, the song with Ville Valo on it is one of the best! I suppose all we can hope for is them going prog, which is unlikely, but you never know...

 Yep...we can only hope for a COF/Dream Theater cross over! LOL. I like the tune with Valo (The Byronic Man) along with, well really, the rest of the album. It's just not an earth shattering release. I find it interesting that people don't like the cover of "Temptation". I thought it was pretty good considering what the original sounds like. They really gave it a COF make-over.
