This is going o be a long thread.

93/100 is way to high for me. As Aleksie said in the review "Don't expect a new Hatebreeder." Well, that alone determines the quality of this album IMO.

This one isn't anywhere near HCDR , or their earlier works. I only listened to it few times so far, and it sounds exactly as TL&S , which i didn't like at all...

this probably isn't a good idea.. a score this high means that the speedreaders will rush out and buy it even when it's a ridiculous step towards nu-metal crappitude.

It's not really extremely bad, it's just bad, and that means it gets my 30/100. A completely shallow album, as could be expected by now. Rating this so high makes me lose a little trust in the site. The review was good, but the opinion is cheap. Luckely it also got a more realistic score...

I'm not a huge CoB fan but i really want to hear this one. I assume it's not as bad as some people say it is but also not a 93. Probably some where in the middle. Guess i need to get it from my brother and give it a listen or 2.

In my opinion, if i were keeping CoB's musical past in mind, i would rate this album way worse than 65/100. An utterly shallow album with a fake and lame attempt to have a badass attitude. Change is fine, but CoB have undergone a dramatic change by vitually doing the reverse type of music they used to play within two albums. They went from highly melodic, technical black oriented music (mastery) to dumbed down, in your face, "i'll beat you up cuz i'm cool now" metal. from an objective standpoint though, the album isn't horrible, hence my "try before buy" quote, but if i were to quote this album on a personal and emotional level it would be 40/100. CoB had been may favorite band for years and i still feel like having a seizure when reading the tab to "kissing the shadows" on guitar pro, but this new effort lacks the distinct tinge that made Children of Bodom what they were... ah well

You've gotta be kidding me with this 93\100 score...This CD is TERRIBLE! The riffs are flat downtuned chugga-fests, the lyrics are as laughable as the song titles, and there seems to be a lack of a musical direction. I didn't get that Finnish-style heavy-power feel that other bands of their ilk produce...It's very weak and disappointing to say the least that Laiho put this out.

Exactly, so why putting a 65 under it? 65 means it's good, not bad (which it is).
