Well I have both their s/t(the second s/t)and Street Ready and I like Michael Olivieri's voice so I'm looking forward to hearing this one it's good to see Michael back in the band.

I'm stoked to see Olivieri back in the band, but it really sucks that Geoff Gayer drank himself into oblivion and out of the band. For one, he was a key creative force behind the band, and a vital part of the "triple axe attack." From what I've seen, it looks like the band is being very careful to find a lead guitarist with a style similar to Gayer. At any rate, I'm happy to see Olivieri back where he belongs. Kudos to Wade Black for his one album stint in the band (this guy jumps around like Jeff Scott Soto!), but this CD really got me pumped.

Booze does that to a person sucks he acted like that but if there is any good news out of this is Mike is back where he belongs.

Wade Black should get together with Tim Owens and have a contest to see how many bands they join up in the next 5-10 years

I debated this for a while before going with no quote. Basically, it's not a studio release of "new" material. I discussed the actual songs themselves in the World Asylum review, and off offered my quote there. The purpose of me writing this review is to spread word that Olivieri is back in the band, and appearing on a studio album for the first time in nearly 20 years. Furthermore, he sounds excellent, and heavier than ever.

I guess the difference between this album and World Asylum for most people will be the Olivieri vs. Black preference. If you want to paint me into a corner with a quote, I'll say that I'm a huge classic Leatherwolf fan. Although Black did a fantastic job, Olivieri singing Leatherwolf songs tips the scale for me. 90 / 100 vs the 86 I gave World Asylum.
