you will allow me to totally disagree with the review..i gace this album a spin just about a week ago and i was totally blown away from the 1st second....i think its a fresh and outstanding black metal album and i would recommend it to any black metal fan.

I have an older album by these guys and I'm sure this will probably deliver a bit more of the same, but that's not really a bad thing.

Yeah, I'd agree with you. Rio kinda made it seem a little cookie cutter which I think is definitely off putting.

There's one or two really interesting tunes there like I said in the review, but the majority of this is really cookie-cutter. Like 99.9999% of black metal generally.

For the last couple of weeks and continuing indefinitely I have been working to the unspoken rule that anything which is not original, no matter how well done or even awesome it may be, cannot get a mark above the 70s. This certainly falls into that category.

I'd say it's fairly cookie cutter, but it's not really a bad thing that it is. It's a pretty good album.
